Yes, significantly. With the Pixel 6 and later models, Google partnered with iFixit to provide official repair documentation and parts. The Pixel 7 and 8 series are among the more repair-friendly flagship Android devices available. Pixel 8a and Pixel 9 continue this trend.

Older models (Pixel 3, 4, 5) are less repair-friendly due to strong adhesive and tighter tolerances, but compatible aftermarket parts are still available.
